Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before booking. By using The Orielis platform, you agree to be bound by the following conditions.

1. Role of The Orielis (Facilitator)

The Orielis acts solely as a booking facilitator between the user and third-party service providers (hotels, transporters, guides).

  • Liability: We are not liable for any lack of service, misconduct, or delays caused by the actual service providers.
  • Contract: The ultimate contract of service is between you (the guest) and the respective hotel or transport provider.

2. Pricing, Payments & Taxes

  • Confirmation: A booking is only considered confirmed once 100% of the payment is received and a confirmation voucher is generated.
  • Taxation (GST): All package prices are subject to the applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) as mandated by the Government of India. If GST rates change prior to your travel, the difference will be payable by the guest.
  • Pricing Errors: In the event a package is listed at an incorrect price due to technical errors (e.g., ₹0 or ₹1), we reserve the right to cancel the booking. A full refund will be issued, but the erroneous rate will not be honored.

3. Mandatory Identification

  • Indian Nationals: A valid Government-issued photo ID (Aadhar Card, Driving License, or Voter ID) is mandatory for all guests upon check-in. PAN cards are generally not accepted as address proof by hotels.
  • Foreign Nationals: A valid Passport and Visa are mandatory for check-in.
  • Failure to present valid ID may result in denied boarding or check-in, for which The Orielis will provide no refund.

4. Transport & Itinerary Constraints

Standard local tour duration: 8 hours (e.g., 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM).

  • Overtime: Vehicle usage beyond the stipulated 8 hours attracts a surcharge of ₹200/hour, payable directly to The Orielis.
  • Wait Time: Drivers will wait a maximum of 15 minutes at the pickup point. Subsequent delays will be deducted from your total 8-hour allowance.
  • No Modifications: Post-booking changes to the route, vehicle, or hotels are strictly prohibited.
  • Missed Sightseeing: Skipping a location by choice, traffic, or late departures results in no refund or "make-up" visit.
  • Night Travel: Vehicles will not operate after 9:00 PM for inter-city travel due to state safety regulations.

5. Hotel Stays & Room Ethics

  • The 12-Year Rule: Any child turning 12 years old on or before the check-in date is classified as an Adult. Incorrect declarations will result in immediate on-arrival surcharges.
  • Early Check-in / Late Check-out: Standard check-in is 2:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM. Early check-in is subject to availability. A 2-hour early check-in is usually free; beyond that, a 50% or full nightly charge applies.
  • Visitors: Outside visitors are not permitted in guest rooms after 8:00 PM for security reasons. Meetings must be conducted in the lobby.

Force Majeure: In the event of natural disasters, government lockdowns, strikes, or acts of God that prevent travel, standard cancellation policies may be waived, and a credit note will be issued for future use. Direct cash refunds in Force Majeure scenarios are at the sole discretion of The Orielis. Once a refund is approved according to the timeframe above, the amount will be credited to the customer's original payment method within 5-7 business days.

7. Conduct & Right to Refuse

  • Substances & Smoking: Possession of narcotics results in immediate eviction and police reporting. Smoking in non-smoking rooms attracts a mandatory ₹5,000 deep-cleaning fee.
  • Alcohol: Consumption of outside alcohol in public areas or lounges of heritage properties is strictly prohibited.
  • Photography: Commercial shoots (Pre-wedding, Fashion, etc.) require separate prior permits (₹15,000+). Drones are strictly prohibited over heritage properties per DGCA laws.
  • Right to Refuse: We and our partners reserve the right to terminate the booking immediately, without refund, if a guest behaves in an abusive, intoxicated, or disorderly manner toward staff or other guests.

8. Liability, Health & Belongings

  • Health Fitness: Travelers are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit for the tour (e.g., walking or climbing steps at forts). We highly recommend purchasing comprehensive Travel Insurance.
  • Lost & Found: The Orielis and partner hotels are not responsible for the loss or theft of personal items. Items left behind will be held for 30 days. Courier charges for returning items must be borne by the guest.

9. Chargebacks & Governing Law

  • Payment Disputes: By completing a booking, you agree not to initiate an unwarranted "Chargeback" with your bank for services rendered or valid no-show fees. Fraudulent chargebacks will be contested using this digital agreement and may result in a permanent platform ban.
  • Jurisdiction: These terms are governed by the laws of India. All disputes arising from these terms or platform usage are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Payment completion constitutes a legal signature and absolute acceptance of these terms.
